Menghai 2010 Dayi 7562 Shou Cooked Ripe Puerh Brick (250g)
The Menghai Tea Factory has been in business since 1940. They are the largest puerh tea company in China.
This puerh was processed from leaves picked in the Xishuangbanna puerh tea growing area of Yunnan, China. This tea is the standard by which all other shou puerhs are judged.
This will brew dark and have a rich foresty aroma with earthy, mineral notes. The flavor is thick and rich. These leaves are generous and you can brew them many times. Each steeping will introduce new flavors and aromas.
Use 5-7 grams of leaves and brew with 6-8 ounces of water at or near boiling. Wash twice for 3s each, then start with a quick steep of 8-10s. With each re-steep adjust the steep time to your taste.
