2018 Mengku Loose Leaf Sheng / Raw Puerh Tea 100g
This tea has some real strength to it! It starts out pretty simple but then gets real complex with a balanced bitterness and exciting aggression that will surprise you. This tea really pleased us this year.
While on our journeys through Yunnan we come across a lot of really interesting teas. Most of these teas get compressed into our pressed puerh products. Some of the material we choose to keep loose as maocha. We're giving you the opportunity to try these teas. These are handmade, farm fresh teas made with quality and love. They are packaged into sealed foil bags which come with an included sealing clip to keep the tea fresh.
Use 5-10 grams of leaves and brew with 75-150ml ( 2.5-5oz ) of water at or near boiling. Rinse twice for a few seconds each. Start with quick steeps under 10s. With each re-steep adjust the steep time to your taste.
