These are fun cups. They were each hand thrown on a wheel with Huaning clay. They are glazed and then painted by hand. This teacup features a cozy fox.
This teacup was made in Huaning ( 华宁 ). Huaning is a town in Yunnan province with a long history of ceramics. The locals harvest clay from the nearby hills. They source available minerals and hand blend their own glazes.
We appreciate the connection this teaware has with Yunnan and puerh tea. Puerh is a product of the soil and hands of Yunnan, and so is this teaware.
This tea cup holds approximately 60ml and measures 6.5cm Wide x 4.5cm Tall.
We only have a few of these cups. They are all very similar but being handmade have some small differences. The one you receive will be very close to the one pictured but may be slightly different.
