This is our first new maocha of 2025 and we are loving it! It's so good. This was a first spring picked material from a garden at the top of the mountain. The trees are all 50+ years old. It's a potent tea energy-wise. You will for sure know you're drinking it. It has a classic Bulang profile and can get very strong if you push it.

Don't fear the bitterness. Bitterness is a natural part of the tea experience. A good tea will reward your perseverance with a deep throat sweetness and this tea will do exactly that.

The aromas on this tea are so fresh and vibrant and young. It's like the tea is still alive. It is very floral and refreshing. The body is thick and creamy. It's a luscious tea.

This is loose leaf sheng puerh tea. It will be uncompressed and shipped in a sealed foil bag in a cardboard box. You can buy either 50g or 100g.

Brewing Instructions

Use 5-10 grams of leaves and brew with 75-150ml ( 2.5-5oz ) of water at or near boiling. Rinse once for a few seconds. Start with quick steeps under 10s. With each re-steep adjust the steep time to your taste.
