Mini Bangdong Cake (50g) Sheng / Raw Puerh Tea
In 2018 we made 3 custom mountain blends and pressed them into cute 50g mini cakes. We wrapped 5 of each cake into mini bamboo tongs. We have special pressings from Bangdong, Hekai, and Mengku.
This tea starts off the adventure with melon, sweet berry, and roasted sugar cane aromas. The flavors start slow but grows into apricot and stonefruit essence. There is a complexity that builds on the solid body. This tea is crisp with a pleasant astringency.
These cakes have simple wrappers and no neifei.

Use 5-10 grams of leaves and brew with 75-150ml ( 2.5-5oz ) of water at or near boiling. Rinse once for a few seconds. Start with quick steeps under 10s. With each re-steep adjust the steep time to your taste.
